| | Coffee with a kiltmaker
Robert from RKilts got in touch with me last night and asked if I wanted to meet for coffee today as he would be in Toronto. It was wonderful to spend some time with Robert, I have to say that anytime I have met anyone from the forum it has been a treat and today was no exception. I hope to do it again soon as it was a truly enjoyable afternoon. Seeing the Dutch Friendship Tartan in person was a treat it really is a beautiful tartan, if only I had some, even one Dutch ancestor. Ah well perhaps one day I will have this gorgeous tartan in my collection.
Here are the photos of the day:

Seems strange seeing Robert in anything other than leather. Mind you I might have cured him of that as I couldn't but touch that buttery soft leather kilt everytime I saw him. I'm stll hoping to see him in his USAK tweed kilt suit.

I think I'm tripping. Two guys in kilts in front of a very funky looking building. I do like the Dutch Friendship kilt, I don't say that often, as I dislike more than I like. Even some of my own. Orange and green (my favorite colors) together goes on my list of must haves.

Good grief! How tall is Robert anyway? Why does he insist on constantly parading about in the exquisite DFT? Vain, vain man....
You both look great great. It's always a good thing when the rabble is able to get together.
Cheers
Jamie
