Commando Sweater from an anonymous X-Marker

This forum is wonderful, a few weeks ago I received a package from an X-Marker who wishes to be anonymous, inside was a wonderful Canadian Issue military sweater. I'd like to thank the anonymous donor for the wonderful sweater, it has already had quite a bit of wear and I'm sure it will get much more come next winter. The day it came I washed it by hand, it took almost a week to completely dry, it is a medium however those army guys must be huge I have to roll up the sleeves 3 inches, I think it goes well with the WPG Gordon Highlanders kilt. Please excuse the look on my face it's the first time I've used the self timer and I was not sure it was going to work.

Pick up four or six bricks. Tape them to your wrists and keep them there for one or two months and your arms will be as long as the sweaters arms. But on the other hand the sweater look really good as it is. Your choice.

It looks very nice. I'm not so sure of the stern military facial expression that seems to have come with it though!

The one wooly pully I have I bought from cavscout and I really love it. I too put it on and immediately thought "How long are the arms of British soldiers?"

I'm pretty sure they are designed to be rolled up like that.

Any time I've seen that type of sweater worn, including the times I wore one, the sleeves were always rolled a bit. How much depended on the arm length of the individual. Three inches is not out of the norm.

The person would have to have "monkey arms" to not have to roll the sleeves.

That looks good on you, especially with the Gordon tartan. FWIW, I have really long arms, and I have to roll up mine.
