From the title I was expecting to see a denim utilikilt, but yes the denim jacket goes well with the traditional kilt and the hose are well colour co-ordinated with the jacket.

David, I like the look. The denim jacket gives the rather formal "bottom half" a casual appearence. Shows the veratility fo the kilt. You could just change the jacket and have a very different look. Thanks for sharing the pic.

I debated a good deal over a used denim jacket at the Thrift yesterday. After seeing how well it goes with the tartan, I think I'll go back on Monday and plunk down the $4.
