Dressed-down kilt: Wales, 1952

From the National Library of Wales,

Models wearing a tartan skirt and kilt,
Dinas Mawddwy Woollen Factory, 1 May 1952

I note the jumper and pushed down hose on the lad.
The lass bears a resemblance to my mother from the same period.

Regards,
Rex in Cincinnati

That's interesting. Notice that he's not wearing a belt or a sporran, I don't think.

However, I have a problem with those loose clothes around that machinery.
