I like that Rose hunting myself. It looks great and you wear it well. I really dig that boar. I think I may need to look into some pictish designs for my legs (only real baren spots left... lol.)

I really feel I lucky to be associated with a clan that has a fantastic looking tartan. It's really one of my favorites. I'm planning to have Mathew Newsome make me a 4yd. box pleated kilt in Rose anciant hunting at some point.

I love the totemic imagery and symbolism found in Pictish art. There are a lot of Pictish designs available on the web. I designed my boar tattoo based on what I found by doing a simple Google search.

The kilt was made by Lochassynt http://www.lochassynt.com/mens-kilts.html. I'm not sure but I think the 16oz. Strome tartan came from Lochcarron.

Thanks all for the compliments. It's definitely an encouragement to wear my kilt more often. To be honest, yesterday was the first time I'd worn it in years. This forum is awesome!

The kilt looks great as does the boar. I've been trying to convince my wife that I need more ink and the Pictish boar was what I was shooting for. What I had come up with was slightly different but I like the looks of yours. I too like the the symbolism in the Pictish designs.
