    Eagles in backyard

Six Bald Eagles in my backyard yesterday, I live on the base at APG right next to the Eagles nesting areas. This year the count is 169 Bald & 1 Gold Eagle. Sorry for the phone quality pics on some. Here is one kilt pic to qualify for this section- my autographed pic of Sir Sean my wife gave me for Christmas.

Here is my house look above the stack on the right branch

Is that near the spot where Rte 1 crosses the Susquehana? I've seen 50 or so eagles there on a morning. There's a intermittent power generating station under the road dam and the eagles wait just down river from the turbines, waiting for fish! Can't be too far away anyway.

What a magnificent sight! We don't have bald eagles in Scotland, but we do have golden and sea eagles.

Not too far away, I am right where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Gunpowder river.

How cool! We get lots of bald and golden eagles here in the canyonlands. Didn't realize they were still back east too. Maginficent birds!

Nice photos SFCRick. We have Bald and Golden here on the coast. They've been known to take a lamb or a cat from the ranches around here. Like Riverkilt, I didn't know they were still back East. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Btw, that's a nice gift your wife gave you.
