Easter day -finally a decent day!

I had been promising a friend a couple new pictures of me for a month now, but the weather had not been cooperating at all. So finally Easter day, we have sunshine and 60 degrees and I just had to get outside and enjoy it before my wife and I went to her parents for dinner.

So I grabbed the camera and tripod and drove over to one of our lakes. There is a short, 1 mile trail that winds along a small hill to an overlook where you can see the boat docks at the resort. Hardly anyone ever goes up there, but the resort keeps the trail in decent shape so some days I'll sneak up there and meditate listening to the sounds of the boat motors and wind blowing across the lake.

I figured if nothing else it would give me a chance to play with the remote shutter release that came with my camera lol.

Thanks again to NewPiperinNY for the great flat cap!

I'm still arguing with the belt, the other pics that I didn't post, the belt seems too high in the back and too low in the front... LOL, the second pic, I look like I'm not happy. I am I tell you, I am LOL!

Were you were losing the argument with your belt! Maybe that's why you don't look happy in the photo!

Very nice looking kilt. What tartan, and no flashes?

oh lol, I forget to add the details. It is the MacPherson red tartan semi-traditional from USA Kilts and no, no flashes. I'm hoping to order some garter ties from the STM soon. I figured for a walk in the woods, no reason to wear them. The socks stayed up just fine.

And no, I didn't even notice the belt problem until I got home and downloaded the pictures. Can't decide if I just need to loose weight or if I'm going to have to use the belt loops

Actually, I know from sad experience, belt loops are usually at the back, so might not help with holding up the belt in front.

Right, I'm more hoping for some balance, it was too high in the back (above the loops) and too low in the front (showing some tartan). So maybe with the belt loops, it would keep it at the same level.
