    Elvis and The Sonoran Scotsmen

So two weeks ago the Sonoran Scotsmen had a kilt night in a new place in Tempe,AZ called D'Arcy McGee's. It was a great time. My brother and I brought a homemade bottle of our Gold Medal Mead that we brew for the owner and had a great night all around. The new "pub" was more of a resturant than a pub, BUT we had they had some awesome food, and some good scotch and whiskey as well. It was opening night of the new pub and we definitely helped them celebrate.

The owner Mike wanted to take a picture with all of us, so that he could frame it and hang it up in his bar. Here is the picture that was taken from this.

Alas though, this is not where my story ends... Around midnight some of us wanted to go on a walkabout to another nearby bar to see how the nightlife was. On our way to the next bar Elvis and his entourage walked right up to us and Elvis said "Evenin' Gentlemen, would you terribly mind if I were to take my picture with you?"

Who am I to refuse the King? Unfortunately nobody in our wandering group had a camera on them so I thought I'd never see the picture that was taken. One of his entourage gave me a card and I emailed her to see if I could get a copy of the picture that they took. I just got her response, and here it is!

There were two cameras and I apparently was looking at the other camera, and was caught unaware by this one. Oh well, it was still a great evening.

Awesome! Of course Elvis would want his picture taken with such a good looking Rabble!

Glad I wasn't the only one!

I'll never understand why people post pictures saying it's a group of guys and it's really just a gorgeous woman. Strange.

Great shot, but the last time I saw Elvis he was at a diner in Iowa and he had all grey hair.

Super pics, a fine kilted rabble, especially the bonnie wee lass in the mini kilt.
That was certainly a bonus being honoured by a photo opportunity with "Elvis"
