| | | Ferintosh Burns Day/Night
I 'popped' up to Ferintosh on Sunday 25th for the Burns Association supper the same evening. I met Robertson and Emma at last! Also, Tom, Dee, Ian, Michael, Robin and Michelle as well as Hamish, Jim, Alex and Trefor whom I had previously met.
Although a flying visit, I had a fabulous time and it was a genuine pleasure to meet everybody.
Xmarks people are just the best!
Here are a few of my pics from the visit: Robin, Michelle, Emma, Hamish and Robertson await the lantern procession One of the more elaborate lanterns, a spitfire perhaps? Robertson is head and shoulders above the rest! Eyes down! Hamish, Alex and Tom. The roll call for the Burns supper "Ye wid'nae see bottles this size in Ferintosh!" says Emma. Trefor, Michael and Alex study the menu Robertson faces the elders of the kilt council to explain the flashes around his ankle ! A stretch of the legs for me at Tebay services on the way home

Thanks for sharing the pictures Martin - it was a long way to come for so short a visit but good to see you again.

Wonderful photos Martin. I hope to make it to Ferintosh for a Burns Supper one of these years.

Great pictures! Had a bit of a startling moment there... the dog in the first pic looks like our old dog from behind. Sounds like you had a blast!

Did something similar myself Martin, except I was there on Friday. Good to see your pics.

| | | Wow! What a time to be among such notables of X Marks. So, what was Robertson's excuse/reason for flashes around the ankles? One too many single malts? |
