On the Sunday morning we made the traditional pilgrimage to Caerlaverock Castle.

Looks like a fixer upper for sure, what are they asking?
Serious, great shots, nice to see someplace I can't get to...keep staring at the masonry and wondering who built the place, how far they had to haul the rocks, what they used to make it all stay together....

Thank you for taking the time to post such grand photos. I stare at these pics of you kilted gents standing on the hard stone of the castle ruin and it seems to re-invite history to take part with you.
