    Festival piping !

For a wee bit of piping, please check this link:

    http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=QoWKnFFWVrI

It was in Saint-Chartier, France , I was presenting The French "Grande Bourbonnaise pipe"... unkilted , to avoid all confusion.

    Best,

    Robert

P.S. The film is German !

Thank you ! That's very sweet of you.

A friend actually just sent me this little film, so I thought I sould share it.

The waltz I'm playing is something I wrote for the British Writer John Berger, now living in the french Alps.

The pipes are 26" chanter in A.

Honestly, I don't really know what it was used for...

Perhaps some of the Rabble speaking German could help us here .

Merci bcp for the video. I happen to have a friend in town visiting from the Bourbon region. I can't wait to show this video to him!

I was also pleased to see the Catalan pipes. That is another major line of my ancestry.
