    Finally...pics of Reid Kilt

Well, for those following my previous thread on Reid Kilts, you're probably wondering why I haven't posted pics sooner. Here they are. It just takes forever to download on my computer.

Anyway, I could go on and on about this kilt, but will let the pics do the talking. The last pic is of the original Robertson Red Modern, which did not turn out so well, as didn't the 2nd and 3rd tries. Oh, that was a different company, by the way, not Reid.

It's always nice to see a new guy join the kilt, retail world, and if you decide to go with Peter, I don't think you'll go wrong. He's a personable chap, and is directly involved with customer service.

The material is Marton Mills, 16 ounce Jura Range, Robertson Red Modern, 8 yards. Excellent color to it, and the pics don't quite do it justice. The leather straps are nice and heavy. Buckles are equally nice. The attention to detail is much better than the previous, three attempts by the 'other' company!.

    On with the show:

My favorite four-legged creature...Artan, an English Airedale with and Irish name

Original kilt from the 'other' guy! Notice how the sett is off, and the pleats are discombobulated in the middle.

Aaaah, yes, much better. Nice sharp, crisp pleats. Beautiful tartan. Well done.
