    First Professinal Apperance Kilted

    Hello All
I have been wearing Kilts now for about 3 years, most of that being off and on. Since i have found XMTS i have gotten a little bolder in my kilt wearing.

So today i had a work meeting and seeing it a great opportunity to show off my Black UK Mocker with a stylish shirt my wife bought me. SO here it is for your viewing pleasure,

Sorry for the shadow across my face but i am showing off the kilt not my devilish good looks

Lookin' good dude I am not a big fan of cargo pockets. So naturally the mocker is the model I have had my eye on. Tell me. how's the fit? Are the pockets at a good angle? Do they hold a reasonable - that is a normal amount of carry items in a comfortable way?

The Mocker is great, I have two, one black and one grey. The pockets are HUGE and they are only uncomfortable if you load them up with heavy items. The pocket angle is such that when sitting down the pockets naturally fall between your legs.

The fit is good and the kilt is very comfortable to wear although it did take me a while to get used to the half-width aprons.

The only down side, as far as I can see, is that they are not adjustable and for that reason I'm having to sell both of mine since they are now too big and I've more weight to lose.

Ah well. When I've reached my target size I'll look to replace them.

Tetley beat me to the punch, but i will agree with him. The Mocker is very Comfy and being that i got in to kilts starting with the UK's the apron wasnt an issue for me. a point of advice, dont toss the extra $$ down for the modisty snaps, i did on my UK original and i never use them.

Fit is great and if its a little big you can toss it in the dryer(manufacture not recomended) and the material will shrink a little. I love the long pockets, they are cut so what ever you put in there goes down the front of the kilt. Seresouly you forget that you have keys down there.

If i keep loosing weight i will be posting my for sale as well.

Thanks to both you fellows for the review. Sounds like I'm on the right track to choosing a kilt I will like. I also see the thing I must be VERY careful about is SIZE. What I'm hearing from you boys is "Don't blame Utilikilts if you on measuring."

Well, if you're olde like me them long pockets in the Mocker can drive you crazy. I'd be forever looking for my keys and they'd be in the bottom of the Mocker pocket, just beyond my reach when I checked there for them....if I hadn't outgrown the kilts I probably would have sewed the front pockets up a couple inches just for that reason...

    Looking good.
My only Utilikilt is a Mocker (bought second hand from Riverkilt) and I wear it often.
