That's Ialtog with his back to the camera, with the braided hair & his hands clasped behind him.

Highland Hornpipe played by Amber Thomson

all joining hands to sing Auld Lang Syne
I was holding my camera up over my head for this shot & I guess I didn't get it focused right, since it's so dark (yes the flash was on), but to end the evening we all got in a big circle & held hands while singing Auld Lang Syne. A touching end to a fine evening.

our friends, Graeme & Jackie Niven, owners of Arizona Kilts

my wife & I (though I wish Graeme hadn't cut us off at the calf! )

That's all folks! I hope you enjoyed this celebration of Highland culture in the Highlands of Arizona.

RR,

You made us wait till the end to get a look at you and your lovely wife but it was worth the wait. You both look wonderful and the evening looked like a lot of fun (though loud with a full pipe band) .

Thanks for sharing your night with us.

Cheers

Jamie

Actually, there was another... I'm between the lady in the black dress, and the one in the Wallace tartan jacket.

I didn't recognize you; you've gone blonde since the last picture I saw of you.

Thought I'd throw in a few pics from when we were trying to head back to Phoenix last Sunday morning as a major winter storm was hitting the area.

Not what people usually think of for Arizona!

We barely made it out, with a few exciting incidences of slipping & sliding on the ice. What fun!

our car with Winter's frosting (the blue VW with license plate - DJ 2 GO)

no, I'm not cold!

merrily, merrily thru the snow...

where's I-17?
our state's major north-south interstate highway reduced to a single ice & snow encrusted single lane

The "walrus" jacket!!! (you had to be there to understand that...)

Sorry I didn't recognize you, either. Hope you got home safely.

As for my hair, yeah, I bleached it - new year, new 'do...

Hopefully you'll be at the Phoenix Highland Games in 2 1/2 weeks & we'll recognize each other, this time.
