I was holding my camera up over my head for this shot & I guess I didn't get it focused right, since it's so dark (yes the flash was on), but to end the evening we all got in a big circle & held hands while singing Auld Lang Syne. A touching end to a fine evening.

You made us wait till the end to get a look at you and your lovely wife but it was worth the wait. You both look wonderful and the evening looked like a lot of fun (though loud with a full pipe band) .

Thought I'd throw in a few pics from when we were trying to head back to Phoenix last Sunday morning as a major winter storm was hitting the area.
Not what people usually think of for Arizona! 
We barely made it out, with a few exciting incidences of slipping & sliding on the ice. What fun! our car with Winter's frosting (the blue VW with license plate - DJ 2 GO)  no, I'm not cold!  merrily, merrily thru the snow...  where's I-17?
our state's major north-south interstate highway reduced to a single ice & snow encrusted single lane
