The gent in the middle of this picture just looked "off" to me and it took me a few moments of looking at it to figure out why. Was it because his jacket was buttoned? Was it the hang of his sporran? No. After a moment of staring I figured out what was bothering me. It looks like he is wearing his ghillie brogues with NO SOCKS!

Then I looked a bit longer and discovered that he's actually wearing hose that are near flesh-colored (at least in that lighting).

Still, it threw me for a loop!
