I am looking at that weekend as a possibility because of the festival. Also want to get over to the transportation museum in Spencer. Hope to have better luck then the "old 97" in getting to Spencer.

There's about 4 hours between Franklin and Spencer. You wouldn't be starting from Monroe, VA, would you?
(I wonder who all knows what that's about. )

Since no one else has mentioned it, I especially like and appreciate your unique horse hair sporran. They go unappreciated in this day and age. Very nice!

You can add me to the list of fans of that doublet! Spectacular! One of these days when I do finally get around to a doublet it will no doubt be Sheriffmuir (though I'm stuck on velvet with tartan waistcoat.)

Thumbs up

Great set of photos Matt! I really like your new doublet too. One question, what is the medal hanging on your watch chain?

That's my Guild of Tartan Scholars medal. :-) Thanks for noticing.
