    A Friends Wedding Reception

Here are some pictures from a friends wedding that I went to kilted.

    The groom and I

The dollar dance. . . my friends and I have an odd sense of humor. We paid a buck to dance with the groom as a gag.

Who stands out in this picture. . .

The wedding was fun, and my kilt was well recieved. I got a few compliments and some genuine interest. I had a few guests from the brides side (who i didnt know), make some derrogatory marks within earshot but I held my tongue as I did not want to make a scene. Overall it was a beautiful event!

Great pics BB thanks for sharing the green argyll looks good with that kilt. And you are not the only one with a strange sense of humor I have been known to do the same thing to a couple of friends during the dollar dance at their weddings.

Great pics BB. Thanks for sharing. Many eons ago, at a cousin's wedding her side came in all kilted in the clan tartan with her wearing a tartan sash with her gown. The groom's side showed up in the penguin costumes. During the reception ALL of the bride's family did dollar dance with the groom. Near the end of the reception we all surrounded him and wrapped him in a kilt, after we had pants him. Then sent him on the way with his bride. After that he made a point of wearing the kilt to all functions on our side of the family.
