Galloway Holiday for Ann

I rented Willow Cottage at Sandhead near Stranraer last week to give Ann a holiday.

The young care worker came in twice daily to help with washing and dressing Ann.

The house overlooked a small pond and wildlife habitat though the sea was just a quarter mile away, beyond the pine trees.

Early Christian site at Kirkmadrine. The stones displayed behind glass in the porch date from the 5th to 12th centuries, though the small chapel which now stands on the site was built in the 19th century from masonry of the previous church.

Fabulous fotos again Alex!
The Yuccas (Yucca Brevifolia) remind me of my visit to the Joshua Tree National Park in California 18 months ago - although there is a lot more sand over there!!
I get the impression that it was a rather windy time you had, and maybe not too sunny - just as it seems to have been down here in Sussex all through the summer! I am sure Ann enjoyed the break as, I hope, did you. Do give her my love.
Take care,
Ham.
