Gets Hot in Texas

This last weekend I drove up to Arlington (Dallas/FtWorth) for the Texas Scottish Festival etc. It was a beautiful day and big fun.

I ran into an old friend and fellow musician Mike McClain. I'm on the right.

Gets Hot in Texas

By mid-day it was already over 90degF and most of the folks there took to the music tents... and had a Guinness.

They managed to run out of Guinness for a while at about 7PM on Saturday night. Ha-Ha... (they got it up and running to avoid a riot.)

All in all, it was a great time. I'll post some 'music' pix in the music section.

Cheers

NEWS FLASH:

...with temperatures hovering in the mid-nineties, emergency supplies of Guinness were airlifted by helicopter to a Higland Fest in Texas today...

Damn, I wish I could just drop everything and go to all these Highland Games...come on Lotto ticket! I've had the pleasure of having been to D/FW a couple of times and it's always been a blast. Great Botanical Garden and the Kimball Art Center...ya can't go wrong. Glad you had a hot but good time!

Best

Great pics, but running out of Guinness is a serious breach of protocol!
