Glen Canyon of the Colorado River

Back on the river yesterday. So beautiful, so serene, so comfortable kilted.

Something new this trip. Horses grazing riverside on the Navajo rez side of the river across from Lees Ferry.

Here are some scenic shots - that's Glen Canyon Dam where the trip starts.

Here's the first riffle...no white water on this run.

Cliffs run from 700 feet to 1200 feet in the canyon.

Sometimes the best view is looking up. These are the cliffs at Petrogyph Beach and Horseshoe Bend.

A straight stretch of river called Two Mile, because its two mile's long...but this is near the end of it.

Pit Stop at Petroglyph Beach. Water is 47 degrees - refreshing in the hot desert sun. Kilt is USA Kilts semi-trad in Gunn Modern.

Not sure if you can read it, but theme and t-shirt for this trip was Go With The Flow - a fitting suggestion for a raft trip and life. Logo is supposed to be an abstract of people on a raft.
