got it right this time...

OK, now I've assembled what I think are the right accessories for my State of Arizona tartan. Got the shirt at REI, the kilt hose from Arizona Kilts, the shoes are by Børn, & the sporran, sporran belt & kilt belt are all by the Leather Sporrans Co. in Scotland ( http://www.leathersporran.co.uk/ ). I'll have to get some seperate close-up pics of the belt & sporran; while the sporran was a stock item, the sporran belt & kilt belt were custom-made to match the sporran & I think they did an excellent job.

My brother took these pics at one of the best parks in the Phoenix area - Papago Park. Fantastically shaped sandstone hills including the one these pics were made around, on & in appropriately called, Hole-in-the-Rock. Plus, it's the location for the Phoenix Zoo & the Desert Botanical Gardens.

OK, let the photo tour begin...

near the trailhead................................... me, caveman................................... I claim this rock...

Thanks Retro,

That tartan looks a whole lot better as a kilt photo than the swatches do...

Of course now I've got another entry on my wish list!!! Lived in Arizona since 1973...guess I should have some semper fi for the crazy state.

That is a really great outfit. You caught a good sun angle as well. You look like you should be in a catalogue!

a little taste of a fairly average Arizona sunset - beautiful land, beautiful skies...
