Gourock

Out to lunch at Gourock yesterday with some friends, note the glorious view out of the window.

During lunch the ferry Jupiter sailed past on her way to Dunoon.

Later we went up to the viewpoint on Lyle Hill, looking out over Cardwell Bay towards Gourock Pier. Photo by G. Mellstrom.

Looking across the Firth of Clyde towards Helensburgh

The view upriver towards Glasgow.

Taken with my camera's automatic timer as dusk began to fall, I rushed in just in time to join my friends in this shot.

Nice pics Alex. How I wish I could spend more time wandering around your country. The scenery is wonderful.

Wonderful photos Alex, looks like a great day my friend.

Alex,
Your photographs are always making me a wee bit jealous. The ideal scenery that you share with us across the pond is enjoyed by my whole family. Now to figure out how to get a fortnight from the job.....

Those are beautiful as always. The only problem with your photos is that they give such a wonderful representations of Scotland that I don't feel so much the need to go there myself.
