Grand Canyon pics

The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania that is!!

No... honest.

That's officially what they call it.
It's located in northcentral PA near the town of Wellsboro. My wife and I spent the Labor Day weekend near there and I got a few pictures to share.

This first shot is looking south along Pine Creek gorge. There is a 60+ mile rail trail that is visible beside the creek.

We stay at my dad's hunting camp. It's got all the comforts of home: outhouse, electricity, but no running water.

The camp is located near Galeton, PA

I did wear a kilt but surprisingly only got one skirt comment.

Beautiful pictures, thanks for posting them. The scenery reminds me of the Saddle Mountain area of West Virginia, but thats not too far away so it should not be a surprise.

I love the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. When I was a kid living in Johnstown, PA, my folks used to take camping trips there every few years. I have very fond memories of hiking down to the bottom. Thanks for the pics!
