Grand Rapids MI Burns Supper
Last Saturday I had the privilege of attending the Grand Rapids Scottish Society Burns Night Supper. Also attending were Sammac and his wife.
The picture next below shows myself and my wife on the left and Sam and his wife on the right of the picture of Robert Burns.

The next picture show my wife and I and our daughter, who attended with us.

It was a very nice evening of poetry, song and pipe music provided by the Grand Rapids Pipes and Drums. There were about 120 people in attendance with Haggis to sample and roast beef and chicken for main courses. Neeps and tatties, of course. The master of ceremonies was a scottish ex-pat and did a fine job, including reciting Tam O' Shanter.
We hope to be able to attend many years into the future.
Sorry there are no other pictures. My camera is not up to the job under low lights.
Regards,
Tom
