Great Weather

With the fab weather we have had recently here in South Wales, we took off early on Sat and headed for the hills and our favourite retreat.

It was a hustle and bustle when we got there, both outside and in.

This is a real farmers pub. The food portions are excellent. You can eat like a king n queen for just a few £

We shall be calling in this pub on our 'Rumney Folk Festival on tour Sept 2010'.
This year we are taking the festival on a coach, thats the audience and the performing artistes, on a tour of the Brecon Beacons and Waterfall / Cave country calling at lots of farmers pubs for music sessions, finishing at the Red Cow. Anyone interested in wanting more info, please pm me.

Then we took to the res where we chilled out for an hour or so in the shade. It was far to hot to go on a long trek. We seen and heard no one apart from a raven and a cuckoo calling. This is where we settled.

We walked back to the bus stop through some woodland glades with loads of wild flowers

Eventually we got back home and it was still warm. So I got the guitar out and we made some music out our small garden.
