    Hand-Embroidered Scottish Thistle Handkerchief

    This is something I made back in October or maybe even November...not sure really. It's a product of what happens when I have extra supplies laying around and I have nothing to do...so, it's just another one of my many talents.

    Thanks! That's actually my first attempt at something like that. I figured since I can make button holes, I could design something like that.

    For a first attempt it's very nice. Your buttonhole skills show in the nice tight close stitches. What's next?

    What's next?

    Another contemporary kilt, says I.

    I'm looking to find the wool suiting cloth, again...Jo Ann's Fabric had some nice charcoal pin stripe wool suiting a while back. Hardly get there as it's an hour away. Though, I'd have to make it in sections as pattern on the cloth goes horizontally instead of diagonally. I see no problems with doing it like that, really. Yeah.
