Heading out for the show
Just got ready to head out for the Black Watch/Welsh Guards show and the wife got a shot of me in my new jacket and waistcoat.

Bubba,
Looking sharp there. Where did you get the Argyll and waistcoat?

The dapper Bubba. Be prepared to fend off all the jealous ones wearing those things that are called trousers.

That is a very nicely co-ordinated outfit, Bubba. Is it an Argyll or a Crail jacket though? It is difficult to see the detail.
By the way, is that your spare sporran hanging out to dry just behind you?

Bubba, great look. That jacket looks like the one I have, where did you get it from?
Ham, that is not a spare sporran, that is a thremometer, but given where Bubba lives, it does not register temperatures compatible to human life at this time of year! Of course, mine is not much better!

The jacket is a Braemar, essentially an Argyll with Prince Charlie cuffs. Got the jacket and waistcoat from J Higgins. I just like the Prince Charlie cuff better than the gauntlet style. The show was outstanding.

Very nice.
We'll be going to see the BW on the 22nd in Ft. Worth, but I can't get the guys kitted out formally in time for it.

Very nice Bubba. That is a great look and you're a brave man to take that picture outside at this time of year
