    Highlanders play Falklands 25

    Egypt Shriners Highlanders Pipe and Drum Band were invited to perform at a special event Saturday in Largo Florida, Honoring Members of the Armed Forces lost during the Falkland Islands War 25 years ago.

    Ed Smoak read a poem he wrote, it brought a tear to some eyes.

    Great pics. There have been various commemorations going on over here too of course but I haven't seen any kilted ones.

    Super pictures. I specially liked the one of Steve in the parking lot. I'm hoping to wear my Royal Air Force kilt to attend two or three Falklands commemoration events during June but I no longer play pipes, nor did I ever play to the standard required for such events.
