A Holiday and A Haircut

Ann was able to make the holiday trip to Gran Canaria with me last week. A four and a quarter hour flight from cold wet Newcastle Airport.

We flew over Dublin and Cork and left the coast near Galley Head in County Cork.

At San Fernando, Gran Canaria before the haircut.

With Ann at Mas Palomas after the haircut.

The lighthouse at Mas Palomas, the only interesting historic building in a modern holiday resort.

Ann beside a cactus

The sand dunes between Mas Palomas and Playa del Ingles.

Ann on the promenade at Los Meloneras. We stayed at an apartment two miles inland so I got plenty of exercise taking Ann to the sea.

Ann at the lagoon behind the sand dunes.

Ann at the park.

Glad she is doing better. Sounds like an interesting place to visit.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

You certainly get around Alex and good to see Ann doing that too!
Good photos of an escape from our uncertain weather.
