    I Love This Kilt!

Wore it to work to day to "break it in." My new Cameron Black and Red from House of Edgar's Old and Rare collection. 13 ounce, 8 yard, hand sewn by Kathy Lare of Kathy's Kilts in Albuquerque. Got the matching flashes. Think I need a Johnny Cash Black shirt too though.

And take a look at the perfection of Kathy's pleat work....

You gotta wear one to feel the quality...and the "swish"

My fourth from Kathy Lare...such a treat to have a quality, Scottish trained, kiltmaker who has my bizarre size down pat.

Congratulations! An 8 yarder certainly does give the swish - and a Johnny Cash shirt will be a real killer

Fantastic looking cilt, you wear it well, as you do with all your cilts. You can't go wrong with a 'Johnny Cash' shirt.

Ron, that is one beautiful kilt. I agree, a black shirt would look great with it. Kathy's workmanship is superb.

Another nice addition to your gallery!

    Immaculate work on the pleats!

Thanks for sharing the photo. Also, I too vote for the black shirt.

    Hi Riverkilt,

It may just be the lighting but in pic #2 the black kilt hose and the black jacket really seem to make the red "pop". Beautifully made kilt and great tartan; not hard to understand why you are so thrilled with it.

BTW, you do have a wonderful kilt collection and I enjoy checking out your gallery.
