I wore my Kilt to work

I wore my kilt to work yesterday for St. Patrick's day. I had discussed wearing my kilt with my boss & he was fine with it. I would suggest that you at least give your boss a heads up that you are going to wear one before you do.

Congratulations. Looking good too. Next up - ask to be able to wear it once a month... (or a week)
What's the tartan? Did you get any comments? Positive/negative?

I may wear it once a month, it's the Wisconsin tartan. I had only good comments, I think everyone was just green with envy.

Wonderful! That's a nice looking tartan and the fact that it's your state's tartan --- I'd go "I want one too" especially if I lived in Wisconsin.

If you don't mind, may I send this picture to a good friend of mine that I've been gently influencing to want to wear a kilt? He doesn't want to wear one because (and this is his reasoning) it will require spending money for accessories. The thing is I strongly think that he does not have a want for money. Anyway he's from Wisconsin and he visits there frequently even though he lives in northern VA.

Did you find WI tartan somewhere, or was it a custom weave? I was born and raised in GB and I'd love to get my hands on a WI tartan kilt!

    Congratulations.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
