Problem solved! It's a fine looking kilt, and well worn to boot.

A great way to celebrate National Tartan Day!

    Cheers

Oh man is that a gorgeous kilt! I'm not a huge fan of MacLaren (just not my cuppa) but that is awesome! Congrats.

I really like the brown leather with it, and I think the choice of colors for the shirt, hose and flashes does a nice job of accentuating the kilt, but I think I would like to see it with a little more contrasting colors (black for instance). Just a personal opinion, but maybe that has to do with MacLaren not being my favorite.

Otherwise looks like you did the tartan proud on Tartan Day. Well Done!

Yes, those are the Lewis hose. Gotta tell you I really like the look! And they were comfy with the traditional garter strap things from the museum there, too. I've always had problems with the elastic garters, so I was eager to give these a try - and they were super!

I wound up with some skin texturing around my upper calf at the end of the day, but I always do because of the size of my legs, so that was expected.

I was out and about in the cold (snow here yesterday) and in the office, and they were super in both settings!

Great kilt. Welcome to the wonderful world of "Newsomes." Mine is far and away my favorite (and best made) kilt.
