    Jaguars On The Island

The Jaguar Car Club of Victoria had its big event of the year this last weekend. Called "Jaguars On The Island", it included a BBQ, car show, dinner, slalom, and lunches. This is the biggest Jaguar show in North America; attendance was down this year, but I was told that there were ~150 Jags in attendance. One of my best friends and I attended the show with our 2002 XJR's. We entered the "Enthusiast" division, so our cars weren't judged. There was everything from concours to beaters, but most of the Jags were in their finest form. I thought some of you might be interested in pictures of the event. There is a kilt in there somewhere, just to keep it topical!

Our Jags before heading over to the show.

I couldn't stop taking pictures, but this is just a sample.

    Wow!
I thought from the title that this was going to be a thread about wild cats.
Fabulous photos, some lovely old XJ series and E-types there, its great to see so many old British cars together.

Love the photos, the E-Type has always been a favourite of mine.

I love the E-Types! Did you happen to see an XJ220? I got to see one up close and personal at the car museum in Saratoga Springs, NY and it was a very impressive car.
