Kilt #4/X-Kilt #1
A couple of pictures of the kilt I made for my one brother as a Christmas present (which, the way we celebrate Christmas, he got last Saturday).
From the front:

And the pleats, kind of ...
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

what...no hamish pose? You know that is how we truly judge the quality of a kilt!

Wow looks good, I'm sure your brother is very happy with his kilt.

Methinks he looks like he is dis'ing the kilt, but in reality is enamored with the comfort!

Well, I asked him to turn around so I could get a shot of the pleats ...
And he doesn't surf XMarks, so he doesn't know the "Hamish."
I'm just hoping that since this one is less flammable than the SWK I got him for his birthday, it will get a little more wear. If not, the expression on his face before he started hamming it up was worth it.
That, and our older brother saying "You made that? Cool."

Looks great. You're brother is a lucky man.
Happy Birthday, by the way (14th). My day is tomorrow.

Did you have a SWK spontaneously combust?
