OMG!!!

Steve's Naval Architecture background is showing, there. I know what those little bronze weights are, that are on the table in the two-pipers pics! They're for holding fairing splines in place!

Lord, haven't seen any of those in a few years.

Yup, he just glued felt on the bottoms and uses them as fabric weights on the cutting tables. As you know, they're heavier than regular sewing/cutting weights. Good eye, matey!
