Kilt Night - Binghamton, NY 11/12/05
A fine time was had. Here are a few shots:

The kilted gang - Woodsheal, Piper Marty, Victor, Pat, gentleman whose name escapes me & myself.

Victor and his Mrs. were the very picture of Scottish style.

Marty piped for the crowd during the band's break.

The band, West o' Clare, enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed them, I think.

Thanks for the pix, Bob! It was a great time, and very nice to meet you and the wife.
I hope to coordinate "West o' Clare" for future kilt nights. It was a good combination, eh...?

I just checked "West o' Clare's" calendar. They are scheduled again at McGirk's for Sat 10 Dec, which is our next Kilt Night! Huzzay...!

Bob,
Nice pictures. I have a question. Were does one get a nice wide belt like the one you are wearing? I think I have seen pictures of Graham wearing the same sort of thing. I can't seem to find a 2" brown belt like that.
Thanks,
mudd

Most of the day-wear belts seen in my Photo Album, came from a Spanish leatherworker's stand in London's Covent Garden Market, where they are still to be had at around £14.00/£15.00.

QUOTE]
The man in the picture is Dewey. He's the kilt convert. At last month's Kilt Night he and his buddy Bill were busting my chops pretty good about my "dress" when I walked in. I'm glad he had a change of heart (and clothing). He had a great time and hopefully Bill will have a kilt before next month.
