    kilt pics

Here are my pics imbedded (I just learned how to do this!)... These are the same ones on my yahoo link in my profile.

This is me at the Scottish Tartan Museum in Franklin, NC, sans kilt.

This is a picture of me before church with my black sporran

    And with my brown sporran

The parson said he was "disappointed" I didn't wear my kilt today!

Perhaps more for the younger ones here

    WARNING!

If you use photobucket, be wary of being directed to a Webpage asking you to register for "free" education E-mails after you sign up for an account with photobucket. These screens are from a Website offering 15 month diplomas or some **** like that. There may be a succession of screens with red asterisks prompting you to enter information --even your Social Security Number! DON'T DO IT!!

Not only is this unnecessary, because after you sign up for account you may post your pictures without doing all that extra stuff, but it is also risky.

We first went on a Tuesday(!) and Matt was not there. But a few days later we went back at the bequest of my mother, and happened to met him. Mother lives about an hour south of Franklin in South Carolina via Georgia. She is a widow, and I am planning on buying her a Huntley District plaid for Christmas.

Thank you! I have had mixed reviews on them. I guess one would have to know me a little better and then one would understand the hose. 8) Besides, they were cheap.

I say, you like them yellow hose? Then WEAR 'em and anybody that's got a problem, well, it's THEIR problem!

......though I might not wear them to a wedding or a Burns night or something...

But let me take a wild guess here...you're not the shy, retiring, wallflower type of guy? LOLOL

I know a chap who owns a kilt in the red-and-yellow MacMillan tartan ("Dress MacMillan") who wears yellow hose with red flashes -- he wore it to a St. Andrew's Dance I attended in St. Louis, and it was one of the most strking formal outfits I have seen!

    Cheers,

Short socks, or kilt hose pushed down with boots is a look I like for casual, cream, oatmeal or darker colours (navy) look good with stewart hunting.

    Thanks for sharing the piccies.

I use photobucket, and I have never seen any of that stuff. Maybe it's because I have pop-up blockers.

Are you running Internet Exploder? If so, Mozilla Firefox is your friend. Download it, and don't use IE... :-)
