    We have two cats here, I've owned horses, and many many dogs, even an iguana. I've helped to say an injured owl, and even tried to save a cat who had epileptic seizures, and a baby squirrel once. So yeah I'm an animal lover too. I was trying to take the wind out of Dardanelles sails.

    Great pictures McMurdo, like the sporran.
    Not going to make any comments on the cats, as am in alot of trouble as it is.
    But what happend to your horses.

    Looks like you had a good time. I've had to BBQ kilted a few times, I used a towel tucked over the top of the kilt to protect it. Works well when combined with judicious handling of the grill.

    Definitely get some kind of apron, trust me, it's worth it Most of the cooking I did was in a Pittsburgh Kilt but a few times I was called upon to man the bbq grill in one of my wool kilts, as long as you have some form of apron, it's all good.
