    Kilted Canyon Hike 2

    More canyon pictures...

Another shot of daybreak at the south rim...

Another shot of the canyon, further down...

A string of hikers headed down...

Indian Gardens, the campground 4.5 miles into the canyon...

    Mules headed for the bottom...

    More mules...

Some of the trail we covered...

Hikers resting on the way up...

More beauty. Thanks for posting it. I particularly liked the hikers resting pic since that's what I do best when hiking. Hike a little, rest a lot. And its a great way to soak it all in.

With all the mules and horses you pretty much have to hike head down to avoid the kicked rocks in the trail. Stopping lets me absorb the scenery and grandure.

I love the rugged scenery, reminds me of home. I am always tempted to move into a little rustic cabin for one. Just the simple basics of desert life - Cable TV., Microwave, Jacuzzi, Supemarket in next canyon etc. Ah yes! The call of the wild.......
But it IS indeed very beautiful. I always enjoy these kinds of pics. Have driven (slowly) through AZ, NM,etc. Awesome!

    Wonderful photos, kilts or no.
