    kilted conscript and possible convert

We went to visit family and present a wedding quilt to my wife's nephew and his wife. In prepping for pics we told him he'd have to wear a kilt. He agreed and wore it for pics, a couple hours of target shooting, and through supper. He acted disappointed when he gave me back the kilt. He is the possible convert. He and his wife are heading to Travis AFB in CA. He may show up at some of the Highland events next year kilted. The conscript was my brother in law. He came up with several excuses not to wear it but each was quickly countered. He ended up in my olive UK original.

The Highland Games in Woodland about 20 minutes North are very much worth attending. I hope you encourage your nephew to meet up with the Nor Cal rabble next year at them. Good work on introducing the kilt.

    Cheers
