    Lovely photos! I especially like the (strome - I can tell by the colours) tartan (for obvious reasons) of the gentlemen to the far right on the group shot - what a necktie too!

    Cheers,
    Ahh the infamous looney toons tie. It actually caused quite a stir apparently when my mother in law saw him putting it on with his PC. He had gotten permission to wear it from my bride the day before without telling his wife so he could see her reaction when he put it on. It had actually belonged to my wifes uncle whom died a few months before we met and was worn in his honor. Interestingly enough her uncle apparently wore it on a regular basis when he worked at the US Surgeon General's office as an aide to C. Everett Koop.

    My father in law actually seemed upset that his tie didn't upset his wife as much as her son on the right wearing a Pakistani purse instead of a sporran. His brother beside him had literally received his kilt in the mail the day before the wedding and his sporran hadn't arrived so he was loaned one by his brother who went with the purse.

    Last spring my wife (a high-school art teacher) and I stopped by the prom on our way home from the staff banquet. Miles, the little guy, had a freshly skinned knee and an attitude. He looks like he's about to go kick someones butt!

    I should have others to post, but I haven't uploaded new pics to photobucket in a loooong time!

    Aweswome thread idea, Levi. Checking out everyone's dads and sons is priceless.

    And with that, here are the Ross men at Taste of Scotland in Franklin NC, June, 2010:

    ...and yes, that is my biological dad... he's just short. LOL

    My late father, two brothers and me at my wedding (long before XMTS!). This is the only picture I can find of my dad and I both in kilts.

    I have posted this picture before but could not resist the opportunity to do so again. I am very proud of my two boys. This was taken at Alistair's wedding last spring. He and I are in the family hunting tartan and Callum is wearing the same dress tartan kilt I wore at my wedding to their mother over thirty years ago. I don't know which is the more incredible to me. That the old kilt lasted 35 years or that I was ever as skinny as Cal! I love the picture except I did not realize my sporran had ridden up while sitting before the picture.

    This one is a few years old, but here is the whole family. The wife and I are wearing Keith modern, and the boys are wearing black watch.

    Now, neither of them will wear a kilt. I'll be glad when they are over the teen years.

    Here's one of me and the old man from a couple years ago, before he got too skinny for his kilt;
