Kilted holiday photos from New Zealand
Hi Everybody
I've just come back from a fantastic two week holiday in New Zealand's South Island where I was kilted most days ( Back at work now in trousers is not good at all ) . While I was in New Zealand I spent some time in Oamaru staying with a good friend of mine who wears kilts everyday ( a traditional bookbinder called Micheal O'Brien ) he was lucky enough to purchase 10 boxes of Jacobite highland 1745 gear from the BBC film Kidnapped so now wears that style clothing everyday. Also the NZ malt whiskey company had just opened their shop and barrel storeage warehouse in Oamaru so quite a bit of time was spent there drinking their fine product. Check out the link below to see some of my photos and then go to the 2nd & 3rd page

Now that is the finest collection of tartan clad men I have ever seen! What fantastic piccies!!
About every rule in the book is broken when it comes to mixing tartans, but it looks so good!
So all that gear came from a movie set? what a score! Thanks so much for sharing them.

Wow! A fair amount of clashing tartans there! Looks like fun none the less, I hope you had a great trip home.
