Kilted to Meet a Fav Author

Here's the picture me (right) and mom (left) took with one of our favorite authors, Kerrelyn Sparks (middle):

This was taken in Oct/Nov 2009.

Kerrelyn Sparks writes the "Love at Stake" romance series, which include vampire highlander warriors (pure-hearted defenders of evil). Love the books, so thought I'd dress like my favorite character, Ian McPhie. Oh, and that's a DIY "gorilla tape" scabbard on my back with a "costume claymore"

Getting to meet my favorite author was awesome. She signed our books, took a pic with us and even played with my sword for a minute

Nicely done. I am sure Ms. Sparks was flattered by your effort.

    Best regards,
