    Kilted Photoshoot

One of my passions and hobbies is photography. Today I decided to do a photoshoot, so I got a friend of mine to assist and another to model. Here are some of the better shots I got.

These were heavily inspired by the paintings of Robert Ronald McIan and Kenneth McLeay. I was going for an almost fireplace oil-painting feel. Something classic and almost stoic. Tell me what you think!

I am really liking the sun shining in the window.

Artsy. Would make a good print to frame and hang on the wall someplace.

Really nice environmental shots! The only nitpick is that you cut off the poor guys feet in the second and third shot.

Wow, you should take pictures for some of the kilt sellers! Excellent.

These are really master shots. The one where you are sat in the leather chair has a certain moodiness and broodiness about it which somehow invokes a quiet and thoughtful peace and calm. Ideal for above the fireplace.

That's not me in the photos. I took them. The model is a friend of mine. But yeah, it's give a sense of...contemplation, doesn't it? I would really love to have somebody paint one of these and hang it above a fireplace. That would be so amazing!

Nice work that. Your friend makes a great model.
I'd photoshop the third one as there is a wee bit too much sunlight in his face.
