Great colours, James, which work well together, but I'm afraid I have to agree with what has aleady been said concerning hose being worn formally with t-shirts ....... and boots! For aesthetic reasons, my maxim is : Shoes = hose worn pulled up; boots = hose worn folded/rolled/scrunched down.
Oh, and thank you for explaining the hat. If you hadn't, I'd have been obliged to comment on that too!!!

Well, everyone else beat me to it, but I was going to ask why you were so dressed up (hose and flashes plus a beret) to play ping pong indoors in your own house? But then again, you would probably be frightened by the level of casual if you caught a pic of me in my home setting!

What! Don't you dress up to play ping pong?
I was over at my folks place and dressed for a Father's Day BBQ.
I guess I'm going to have to work on getting some color on my legs so I can wear my hose properly (I would hate from the glare to permanently blind some poor passerby).

Silly me....I like the look - all of it. I think you should put in for Utilikarian of the month with that and other pics. Win you a free kilt.
I mean, hey, you are in California...it is a Utilikilt....I believe that pushing the edges of fashion will help fuel the contemporary wing of the kilt boom.
What traditions?...they ain't got no traditions in California other than the tradition of no traditions...
Dare to explore!

Ya look good - as usual. Like the colors. Hose and flashes? Never seen you without them - how else would I know it's you and not some evil replicant?
