    kilted reunion

This is the only picture I know of showing me kilted at my thirty year high school reunion Saturday night. I was asked for a little leg and decided to oblige. I approached the entire event in the spirit of whatever and you can't have a bad time when you have no expectations.

As to the kilt and the reactions to it; I was approached at some point in the evening(my concept of the timeline is fuzzy) and told that "everyone wants to know who the guy in the kilt is." I got a big hug from a lady who I don't know that I'd ever spoken to in school and she flirted all evening. As we were leaving, one of the other ladies asked if I'd had it on all night.

I had one attempted kilt check, by a husband who didn't even try to be sneaky, he just reached for the corner of the apron. The homecoming queen asked if I was wearing anything beneath and told me she'd tell me if I told her.

All in all, quite a fun evening.

I went to the now defunct Blackford High School on the west side of town. I believe that all the schools I attended in that area are now something else; Blackford is a private middle school, my junior high is a K-8 charter school and I think my elementary school is closed, although I'm not really sure, that district has been reopening schools lately.
