Kilted son (@ nine months old)

My son, Finley, was baptized yesterday. We decided to forgo the traditional Christening gown and go with a traditional Ancient Campbell tartan kilt.

Unfortunately, I had to stand up in the front of the church during the ceremony and give my camera to my photographically-challenged father (who proceeded to not take the best pictures of his grandson... but did get some great in-focus shots of the background! In retrospect, I should have switched out the fixed 50mm lens for him).

But, later on at home, I was able to get some really good shots of him wearing his kilt with the knitted gray sweater his grandmother made him.

    First one...

Beautiful pictures! The kilt looks great on him and I'm sure it holds more significance than a plain white gown. I love your son's name. We thought about naming our son Finley at one point as it was the maiden name of my earliest ancestor in America on my Grandmother's side. We went with Kieran instead.
