Kilted at the zoo..

So we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo this weekend, and as I was trying to decide what to wear, I decided that I was just going to view my tan UK as a I would a pair of shorts in a similar color and just wear what I would with the shorts. If you take that approach, you can open up a whole new wardrobe look, and yes, it can patterned/tie-dyed type shirts. For the record, I had on basic hiking sandals for footwear.

And just for fun, my wife at the same location:

And the 2 girls on the train ride to the city:

Thanks all! It was a wonderful day. We all had a great time and it was a picture perfect day for a trip to the zoo. Temperature got to just about 78 degress, with humidity around 60%, with just a slight breeze and bright sunshine. The best part was that it was a spur of the moment outing. My wife woke up Sunday morning, looked at the weather forecast and decided being outside would be more fun than us doing house chores, so we got moving to catch the train and had a wonderful day.

I NEVER have any problem making that choice. Needless to say, my house can always use a little (sometimes more than a little) bit of work. But hey, I'm a bachelor, so only I have to look at it.

And being a bachelor you don't look at it til the dust bunnies are big enough to eat you, whereupon you have another beer til the urge to clean passes.
