    The students all look wonderful.

This is the first time I've seen the Lindsay kilts (guessing it's Lindsay). Are the Lindsays from your school, or from a cadet group?

I've always wondered why there isn't an Order of Saint John tartan, with all the members in Scotland.

Hello northernsky, glad to meet you.
QV is a military school, it was founded in 1908 to commemorate Scottish soldiers who fell in the South African Wars and a memorial to Queen Victoria.
