At last - a pair of tartan cycling shorts!

These are the new tartan cycling shorts I got today. Unfortunately, with the cold weather they probably won't get enough exposure until the spring, but they are sold in aid of the Braveheart fund, which promotes cycling in Scotland and one day, may produce another Olympic champion like Sir Chris Hoy.

The only problem is that they seem to have been withdrawn from the site I bought them on (http://www.impsport.com/direct1/inde...ewCat&catId=11) so I reckon I may have got the last pair.

Oh man, I've been wanting tartan bike shorts for a long time! And they are bibs also?

Looks like a new jersey coming out so maybe the shorts will be back.

I love them and my envy abounds. However my wife (and riding partner) just told me "no @#$%^&* way" when she walked in and saw them.

I too have bookmarked the site for future reference. Way too cool.

My wife is so Scottish she'd bleed tartan if you cut her throat. If she sees them there'll be no rest 'til she finds some.
